EcoHub develops a type of infrastructure in Vanadzor and Lori region which makes sustainable, eco-friendly and community-centered tourism more accessible for local and international travelers. We closely collaborate with Boo Mountain Bike Park in the sustainable tourism development programs.
1. We create hiking trails in Vanadzor Canyon where the visitors can study the biodiversity of the area, particularly birds and plants. The hiking trails are equipped with signs. EcoHub provides hiking, camping and bird-watching equipment for rent.
2. We train local guides to lead biodiversity tours in Vanadzor Canyon. We are going to cooperate with schools in Vanadzor in order to organize biodiversity study tours for the students as part of their extracurricular activities.
3. In cooperation with the municipality of Vanadzor we started introducing regular garbage collection as well as a waste sorting system in the Vanadzor Canyon.
4. We are installing maps and signs for cyclists in Debed Canyon.
5. We work with small hospitality businesses and encourage them to include sustainable tourism options in their packages which will make their businesses more attractive for local and international travelers.
